Bill Hybels is the founding and senior pastor of Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Ill., and chairman of the board for the Willow Creek Association. The bestselling author of more than twenty books, including Leadership Axioms, Holy Discontent, Just Walk Across the Room, The Volunteer Revolution, and Courageous Leadership, and classics such as Too Busy Not to Pray and Becoming a Contagious Christian, Hybels is known worldwide as an expert in training Christian leaders to transform individuals and their communities through the local church. He and his wife, Lynne, have two adult children and two grandsons, Henry and Mac. Insightful, experienced advice

My husband and I have been married for three years, with volatile ups and downs the whole time. We never seemed to be able to figure out why we could love each other so much during one season of life, yet practically hate each other the next. We have always had an incredible connection, but the bad times have been very difficult for us, sometimes prompting us to wonder whether we made a mistake by getting married. I understand that not everyone can identify with this, but for those of us who can, this book is lifesaving. Advice on marriage rarely comes from people who have had a hard time of it together, leaving us to rely on advice from those who don't understand the pain we have been through. The advice in this book is insightful and easy to apply in your marriage, straight from those who have been through heartache in marriage personally.

Timeless: A must read for all who are "In Love"

Bill and Lynn Hybels have taken their true life experiences and incorporated them into a guide that all married couples should have. It points out inconsistencies and areas of potential trouble, helping to avoid cataclysmic confrontations and future divorce. At the same time they show how to maintain and enhance the relationship between husband and wife making marriage a joy and a blessing instead of a heavy burden. For many people this book could save thier marriage. Being Christ centered yet very practical it is a must for young christian men and women yet it is also written within easy understanding of those who have not yet found Christ. I recommend it as excellent reading to all. It will change the way you see the one you "Love".
